February 25, 2010 Added 15 newly-acquired photos of Redstone missile training being conducted by members of 217th Field Artillery Missile Battalion, 40th Artillery Group (Redstone) at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama in 1957 to Page 1 of the Slide Show Missile Operations Folder.
March 6, 2010 Added a section entitled 40th Artillery Group Training at Redstone Arsenal in 1957-1958 to the Addendum: Page 11 with comments provided by Ted Bonnington about Redstone training at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama in 1957 and early 1958.
May 9, 2010 Added 3 photos sent to me by David Erbstoesser taken at the Overseas replacement Station, Fort Dix New Jersey in October 1962, to Page 6 Overseas Duty under the section Back to Fort Dix.
May 15, 2010 Received a most interesting and informative message sent to me by John Bare, who served as an 8th Infantry Division photographer in Rose Barracks, Bad Kreuznach from 1961 to 1963. I have added John's highly pertinent information about Battery A's loss of a tactical missile to Page 8 under the section titled The Day We Lost a Redstone.
May 30, 2010 Added an interesting photo provided by Jerry Hanlon to the Slide Show Redstone Miscellaneous Folder Page 4. The photo is from a 2008 reunion of former 76th, 523rd and 580th Engineer Company personnnel.
June 28, 2010 Added a photo showing the launch of Redstone CC-1002 on May 16, 1958 to Page 6 under the section A Brief History of Battery A and 40th Artillery Group. The photo is from David Howard and sent to me by Art LeBrun.
July 21, 2010 Updated the outmoded links to Field Artillery Magazine and Artillery Trends Archives at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on the Related Links page and on Page 15 Appendix C: Redstone Missile Articles appearing in ARTILLERY TRENDS.

Added a photo to Slide Show 40th Artillery Group Folder Page 2 that was sent to me by Jim Circle of West Virginia. Jim served in 580th Engineer Company from October 1961 to October 1963. The photo shows Jim and 3 colleagues in the field in the summer of 1963.

Added an interesting photo sent to me by Jim Circle to Page 6 Overseas Duty under the section To the Field, showing an "Off-Limits" for Soviet personnel sign.

Today, August 10, 2010, marks the 50th anniversary of my arrival at Battery A in Bad Kreuznach.

August 11 , 2010 Added 2 Redstone-Sparta missile photos of the Australian WRESAT satellite launch provided by Art LeBrun to the Slide Show Redstone Miscellaneous Folder Page 5.
August 22 , 2010 Added 6 photos to Slide Show 40th Artillery Group Folder Page 2 that were sent to me by Jim Circle. The photos show Jim and colleagues, and LOX Plant operations on field maneuvers in the summer of 1963.
August 25 , 2010 Added an article appearing in ARTILLERY TRENDS - FEBRUARY 1962, titled from group to battalion . . . REDSTONE REORGANIZED, to Page 15 Appendix C: Redstone Missile Articles Appearing In ARTILLERY TRENDS.
August 29 , 2010 Added information from the October 1958 edition of ARTILLERY TRENDS pertaining to the transfer of Redstone training from Redstone Arsenal to Fort Sill; and, the re-designation of 46th Artillery Group and formation of 209th Artillery Group at Fort Sill, to Page 3 Advanced Training under the section titled REMMC Explained.

Added the 260-page Chrysler Corporation document THIS IS REDSTONE in PDF. The document is currently in 3 parts and can be accessed via the Chrysler thumbnail image at the top of Page 12 Appendix A: The Redstone Missile in Detail. First, click on the Chrysler thumbnail to access the full image html. On the full image page click on the Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 thumbnails to access the document.

I have also added links at the bottom of the last page of each of the 3 sections of the PDF document to navigate directly to the next section of the PDF, e.g. ,at the end of Part 1 to go to Part 2; at the end of Part 2 to go to Part 3; and at the end of Part 3 to return directly to Page 12 Appendix A.

November 5, 2010 Added the 37-page US Army document THE REDSTONE MISSILE SYSTEM January 1959 3262 ARMY-FT. SILL, OKLA. in PDF. The document can be accessed by clicking on the 3262 thumbnail image at the top of Page 12 Appendix A: The Redstone Missile in Detail. Document 3262 was issued as a textbook for my REMMC 2A course.

December 4, 2010 Added another photo to Slide Show 40th Artillery Group Folder Page 2 that was sent to me by Jim Circle. The photo shows 580th Engineer Company bulldozer operator Bobby Cravey off duty in Bad Kreuznach with his wife Vonda in the summer of 1963.
December 18, 2010 Added some interesting and pertinent information about the evolution of the U.S. Army Artillery and Missile School structure in the 1958 to 1960 time period to the Page 4 narrative. The source of the information is the document HISTORY of the U.S. Army Artillery and Missile School Volume IV 1958-1967 Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
