They show the remains of Des Gouutes Kaserne, the former Gasthaus zur Lammerbrucke on Bosenheimer Strasse, and former US Army facilities and areas on Kuhberg Hill that were utilized by 40th Artillery Group. |

These photos show a Redstone Trainer Missile operation conducted by Battery A, 217th Field Artillery Missile Battalion, 40th Artillery Group (Redstone). The mission was conducted in February 1959 on Kuhberg Hill, located a short distance south of Bad Kreuznach, Germany. I will also be adding these photos to the Slide Show, and incorporating them into the Page 7 narrative text. |
