The US Army's Northeast Induction Center at 39 Whitehall Street was destroyed by a domestic terrorist bombing in 1969.
It was located where a small part of the dark blue flat roof office building is seen, behind and to the right of the medium blue rectangular building, just up from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal in this photo.
